It was an exciting time for us at the world’s largest and most prestigious watch show. Our location in the Hall of Emotions proved to be more than fitting since the latest creations from our metamorphic 2005 collection were met with wonder and joy by all who witnessed them. This includes the new Diamond Sapphire Ghost featured below. Many more of these pieces will be unveiled in upcoming issues of The Movement, then made available at an Elite Invicta Retailer in your area.

We would like to thank all of you who entered the first installment of The Movement Awards, and would like to congratulate Dan Beyer, Best Collector of 2004. We will announce the next category in a future issue.

Sincerely,

Eyal Lalo

There has never been an Invicta timepiece that has garnered as much interest and pure excitement as the Sapphire Ghost. In fact, our web site temporarily shut down due to the overwhelming traffic it received the day it began appearing in national magazines. Now this incredible example of timepiece architecture has been enriched with rows of carefully set diamonds (approx. 1.5 carat total weight). And the highly elaborate Invicta 11283 caliber movement has been plated with our gorgeous Swiss rose gold, creating an eye-popping presence on your wrist. You can read the complete review of the original Sapphire Ghost at invictawatch.com.

In December of last year, we previewed our first-ever Perpetual Calendar, Minute Repeater. You can now read the full review of this amazing piece on our web site. Several years in development, and scheduled for release in May 2005, the Invicta Perpetual Calendar, Minute Repeater is an achievement of micro-mechanics and another resounding example of the astounding changes taking place at Invicta. Only the world’s most prestigious Houses could achieve a timepiece with complications so extreme. A Perpetual Calendar and a Minute Repeater are two separate, yet equally intricate complications seldom found in the same piece. Creating such a piece demands a great deal of time and investment, which is why serious watchmakers only attempt it. To read the review, click here.

Introduced in Issue 20, the DX is the most complete Pro Diver in our arsenal and was built to withstand anything you can dish out. But will it stand up to the Critical Eye? Find out here.

While the sexy appeal of exotic skin straps like python and stingray still attracts collectors, it is the shine of steel that is pushing its way back to the gates of Trendville. That’s not to say that metal bracelets ever went away completely, but they had taken a backseat to their more colorful and supple counterparts. But the early word out of Basel is that steel will be on a roll well through the upcoming JCK Show in Las Vegas, which is the biggest show in the states. Pieces like the new Baby Lupah Pavé and Ladies Diver Pavé have been getting a lot of attention in Switzerland, and not just for their incredible presentation of diamonds. Serious retailers look for quality in a bracelet. And they find it in our solid 316L stainless steel pieces. As will you.
