The new Lupah Diver is as impressive as it is fun to look at. It shares many of the same terrific features as the original Lupah like an oversized polished and brushed solid stainless steel case, globule mineral crystal and Italian-made Lorica strap, but the Lupah Diver’s rounded design gives it a great new spin. What’s more, the Lupah Diver’s Swiss ETA chronograph movement adds a pusher at 9 o’clock for the adjustment of the two-way turning flange. It’s a rare feature for such an affordable timepiece. The Lupah Diver is water resistant to 100 meters.

A radical departure from, well, radical designs, vintage-style watches are back in fashion. Not that they ever really disappeared from the landscape completely, but as more men begin to learn the importance of a well-rounded watch collection, the more appreciation there seems to be for vintage styling. After all, trading up from the plastic digital of his college days to a finely crafted vintage-styled piece fit for a corporate boardroom is like going from chugging beer to sipping bourbon. It all just comes with maturity. And watchmakers like Invicta know it. While some collectors would be willing to depart with five figures for an auction piece, others will be completely happy – in fact enthralled - with a piece like the new Objet d’ Art Opus from the Invicta Vintage 1948 Collection. It features an extremely complicated Swiss Ebauche movement with a classic regulateur dial. The internal gears are separated allowing the hours to be read from the subdial at 12:00, the minutes off of the finely textured guilloche main dial and the seconds at 6:00. A modern day classic.
